CUP at MIT-Knight Civic Media Conference

CUP at MIT-Knight Civic Media Conference

CUP’s Christine Gaspar spoke about the challenge and importance of open government at the MIT-Knight Civic Media Conference. With panels full of hackers, policymakers, journalists, and activists, the conference looked at the changing roles of “insiders” and “outsiders” of the political process as governments continue to open up. Christine sat on a panel with other leaders from both inside and outside government to discuss how open government can better benefit communities.
