From Cellblock to Your Block Debut Presentation

_From Cellblock to Your Block_ Debut Presentation

On June 21, 2018 student from Life Sciences Secondary School presented From Cellblock to Your Block.

Students from Life Sciences Secondary School collaborated with CUP to investigate who decides where new jails get built and how they impact communities. Students created public art interventions, surveyed community members near the Manhattan Detention Complex, and interviewed key stakeholders working on the issue. Students debuted the booklet they created, demonstrated their interview skills, and shared their creative process at the 96th Street Library in Manhattan.
