Your Guide to Welfare in NYC

Introducing From Shelter to Apartment

Introducing From Shelter to Apartment

We recently teamed up with the Safety Net Project of the Urban Justice Center (SNP), and design studio 13 milliseconds to create a guide to navigating shelters in the NYC Department of Homeless Services system.

The foldout poster breaks down people’s rights in homeless shelters and the different programs available to help them find affordable, permanent housing. SNP is distributing the guide throughout the city at food pantries, libraries, and shelters with their network of partner organizations working with homeless New Yorkers.
