Making Policy Public: Call for community and advocacy organizations and for designers—deadline extended!

_Making Policy Public_: Call for community and advocacy organizations and for designers—deadline extended!

The call for partners for the 2016 issues of Making Policy Public is now open! Making Policy Public projects are 10-month collaborations of CUP, community and advocacy organizations, and design professionals.

CUP seeks organizations who are working to address a policy issue that would benefit from visual explanation, and where the lack of understanding of this issue is leading to social injustice. We seek groups who work directly with the constituency impacted by the issue and can distribute the completed foldout poster to them. Advocates receive 1,000 free copies of the publication they help to produce.

CUP also seeks designers, visual artists, and other creative workers with an interest in public policy who will bring unique visual solutions to the design challenges presented by communicating complex policy issues. Teams are encouraged to apply.

For application guidelines, community and advocacy organizations can click here and designers can click here.

We have extended the deadline! Applications from both advocates and designers are due by Monday, August 31st, 2015 at 5 pm. Please share this call far and wide!
