Open Call for 2022 Urban Investigations Teaching Artist

CUP is looking for a Teaching Artist to lead an Urban Investigation project in the Winter/ Spring of 2022.

CUP is looking for a teaching artist with a strong background in working with high school students and experience integrating art and social justice. The Teaching Artist will work with CUP and a group of high school students to investigate a fundamental question about how the city works, using collaborative research and design.

+ Training and curriculum development: December 2021 – January 2021
+ Classes meet for 2 hours, twice a week, after school
+ Class dates: Classes start in February 2022 and conclude in May 2022
+ Final event: Early June 2022
+ Skills: curriculum development, experience teaching high school students, art and design
+ Stipend: $7,500 for curriculum development, class facilitation, final product design, and evaluation
+ At this time, this program will be in-person.
