Resources for immigrants

Resources for immigrants

When our communities are under attack, accessible and reliable information becomes more important than ever. As our immigrant communities face new challenges and restrictions on their liberty, we wanted to highlight resources from the CUP archives that may be useful in the days ahead.

Language Rights Are Civil Rights!: a wallet-size foldout that explains language rights laws, including the right to an interpreter.

Immigrants Beware!: a guide that explains the immigration system, the consequences of criminal convictions for non-citizens, and resources to fight the deportation process.

Welcome to Health Care!: a visual breakdown of programs that help immigrants keep their health care costs affordable and lays out their health care rights

En Los Campos De Los Impuestos: a guide for migrant farmworkers–regardless of immigration status–that breaks down the tax filing process, and highlights the benefits of filing, the risks of not filing, where and when to seek help, and all of the documents needed along the way.
