“The Fresh Producers” Debut Presentation

"The Fresh Producers" Debut Presentation

On June 29th, 2016 students from KAPPA International High School presented "The Fresh Producers."

Students from KAPPA International High School collaborated with CUP to examine fresh produce in the Bronx. To investigate, students got out of the classroom and into the garden to dig deeper, visiting sites like the Eagle Street Rooftop Farm and to interview stakeholders like New York City Council Member Ritchie Torres and Black Urban Growers (BUGs) Founder Karen Washington. Students debuted the booklet they created and presented on the creative process at The Bronx Museum of the Arts.
