What’s On Your Plate? Debut Presentation

_What's On Your Plate?_ Debut Presentation

On June 22, 2017 students from the Comprehensive Model School Project presented What’s On Your Plate?

Students from the Comprehensive Model School Project (CMSP 327) collaborated with CUP and Community Food Action at New Settlement Apartments to get the scoop on the Alternative Food Program offered to New York City public schools. To investigate, students got out of the classroom and into the cafeteria, surveying community members and interviewing key decision makers on the Alternative Food Program., and identified ways they could get involved in the school food menu choices. Students debuted the poster they created, demonstrated their interview skills, and shared the creative process with middle school students at the CMSP 327 library.
