Print Is Your Landlord Using Construction to Harass You?

In August 2017, a twelve bill legislative package passed in the City Council, with the aim of reforming the Department of Buildings (DOB) and holding landlords and contractors accountable for illegal conduct. These new laws provide tenants with some powerful tools to advocate for themselves–but only if tenants are aware that they exist!

CUP teamed up with The Stand for Tenant Safety Coalition (STS), which is led by St. Nicks Alliance, Cooper Square Committee, and TakeRoot Justice (formerly called the Community Development Project at the Urban Justice Center), to create Is Your Landlord Using Construction to Harass You? in both Spanish and English.

You can get your Spanish copy here.
